For more than twenty years, we’ve operated at the cutting edge of design and construction.

We’ve openly, tenaciously and consistently committed to collaborative, explorative approaches to find solutions to design and build better - we were doing Modern Methods of Construction - MMC - before it was a thing.

We’ve pioneered at the intersection of digital and physical systems through hands-on #DfMAD, and our early focus on low-carbon building & smart construction systems like Mass Timber & Digital Product Development has since been validated as critical to capturing the opportunities within the global construction market - Deloitte projects this will grow to US$16.11 trillion by 2030, driven by the fundamental global need to shift to smart construction.

This is what we are known for:

  • Everything we do is motivated by one thing - create high-value, unique, proprietary outcomes for our clients.

This is underpinned by evidence-driven methods developed, demonstrated and operationalised repeatedly and successfully.

We talk about applied knowledge for making future buildings now - that is what we stand for.

  • From Auckland to Oakland, Guangzhou to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Sunshine to San Mateo and Picton to Portland, we’ve seen and experienced the depth and breadth of construction innovation globally.

With more than 50 global deep-dive manufacturing facility visits - from #masstimber #osm and dozens of cutting edge projects - many of which we directly worked on - we know what average and excellent looks like.

We collapse time and accelerate learning for high-value outcomes.

  • People are connected by six degrees of separation - but in New Zealand, that collapses down to 1-3.

Over 20 years, we have established a global network of subject matter experts, emerging talent and organisations that we work directly with to deliver our goals - augmenting our existing capability in a way few can.

Our Values

Everything we do is built upon our three guiding principles that are the foundation of all of our work, relationships, strategy and assurance.

Find out more about how we work here.

  • To us, creative unassailability means establishing and finding positions that ourselves and our clients can claim for themselves their operations and customers.

This is a creative pursuit requiring deep knowledge backed by expertise, research and testing.

The ultimate aim is to craft a dominant market position that cannot be competed against.

  • Everything we do is built on mutual commitment and respect to do the very best we can to ensure value is provided to everyone we work with, for and alongside.

Respect for values, expertise, culture and experience of others is fundamental for success.

  • As a business in the construction industry, ultimately our work product and those of our clients impact people, the environment and future. First, do no harm.

Nothing we do should leave the world worse off - in fact our aim is for scalable betterment across multiple domains.

Our Clients & Partners

The Ten

We’ve worked on many projects with many people through the years - from the very small to the large.
